Die Lähmung lässt nach
eine neue Wirklichkeit
ein falsches Leben im richtigen
keine Nächte mehr
nur noch Tage
Alles war für nichts
alles warst du selbst
alles war für mich
alles war für nichts
Die Maschine läuft
ich springe auf
niemand sitzt am Steuer
eine unsichtbare Hand
Alles war für nichts
alles warst du selbst
alles war für mich
alles war für nichts
Nimm diesen Lohn als mein Geschenk
kommt gratis mit ein wenig Hohn
Deine Gestalt ist einerlei
denn du versprichst mir deinen Geist

What you call discourse
triggers me into
beeing trigger sappy
And I guess
we don't see the world
through the same eyes
in a related state of mind
I've seen what you call wonder
and still nothing moves me
And I guess
I have just yet
realized
that the universe I'm supposed to be
gradually losing its gravity
the light of its stars

Whenever I'm on a balcony
higher than the 5th floor
I experience an almost primal urge to jump
to just dive into the dark
And it's not even that there'd be an awful lot of resistance
or a wager between pros and cons
Just a tiny glimpse from somewhere I can't localize
which I deem to be my consciousness
which is telling me the simple fact
that it wouldn't be consciouss any longer
No judgement, no guilt, no fear
And it's kind of too awkward but it would be
the closest I could ever come to space exploration,
I guess
Even if I'm going blind
I just wanna see the light

I watch myself grow
not like a child, though
more like a wastedump
I watch myself grow
not like a flower, though
but rather old and grey
Because I have to live
in your world
in a fever dream
from the poison you feed me
Because I have to live
in this cold world
and not the one I roamed
before I fell asleep
The life that claims
that it became
aware of itself
at some point
is at this point
barely as concious
as to claim itself aware
Because its drunk from its poison
and hostile towards itself
I'm hostile towards myself
'cause of the venom in my veins
'cause in your black and white world
not even grey is an option
and at the end of your rainbow
more waste awaits
just dump me there

From watching your every move
to ensure you wouldn't fade
my eyes grew too weary to see
that you felt lika a bird in a cage
It's hard to recognize change
when you see something every day
like I didn't realize
your feathers went dim and grey
To kill two birds with one stone
is to kill two birds after all
and so in lingering on
I'm going to kill us both

This summer has been cruel to us
I'm still wondering what I could have been
had I gotten up in the morning
We leave this balcony
full of memories
and cigarettes
we leave this balcony
full of agony
and cigarettes
This summer has been cruel to us
in need for recreation
all we got was desperation
this summer has been cruel to us
We leave this balcony
full of memories
and cigarettes
we leave this balcony
full of agony
and cigarettes
Let's sit right here
and talk about
the sentiment
of being so close
to the end
